Work-life balance (WLB) is a critical aspect to enhance teacher effectiveness and satisfaction and in the case of women employees, it is more challenging. It has been proved repeatedly that a good quality of WLB results in the wellness of the faculty and improved behavior. In the present study, a researcher has investigated the quality of WLB among Indian teachers serving in different academic streams across universality and colleges based on secondary data. Foreign and Indian literatures were shortlisted and twenty-one research papers were used by the researcher while drafting the research paper. Higher education institutions are becoming more and more demanding in terms of the performance of employees, for ladies balancing professional responsibilities with personal life has become challenging. By way this research works few suggestions were put up for the institutions.
