The advent of recent geomatic technology namely Remote Sensing, Global Positioning System (GPS) and Geographic Information System (GIS) has opened new vistas in the study of various processes of hydrological cycle, which in turn helps for the forecasting, evaluation, assessment and management of highly dynamic water resources
