A Human Resource Audit tries to determine the efficacy of the HR department and its functions. The primary purpose of an HR audit is to identify HR changes that will improve the firm's competitive advantage. It also guarantees that the HR department follows the organization's goals, plans, and policies. The analysis assists in determining not only the effectiveness of HR policies and practices, but also their cost to the firm. The study investigates the use of HR audits to measure the efficacy of HR functions and evaluate them for business improvement.
