This study investigates the impact of soil porosity on dielectric properties, specifically the dielectric constant and loss factor, across various soil types in India. Using a comprehensive dataset from different regions, the research reveals significant variations in soil porosity and dielectric properties, highlighting their implications for agriculture, infrastructure, and environmental management. Findings indicate that soil porosity affects the dielectric constant and loss factor, with sandy soils exhibiting lower values compared to clayey soils. These insights provide valuable information for optimizing soil management practices and improving land use strategies.
