Abstract
In the current study, I will be discussing about a short film titled “Ahalya” directed by Sujoy Ghosh. With the intention to read the hidden patterns in the film, I resorted to counter-reading the film. At the outset of my study, I found that Ahalya is more of conscious intertextual in nature.
