Abstract

King Simuka founded the Satavahana Kingdom in Telangana and later kings conquered and expanded the regions of Upper Maharashtra, Lower Central India and Vidarbha. After that, AD Recent archeological researches prove that in the 2nd century AD they conquered the Tirandra and Karnataka regions and ruled with Dharanikota as their capital. From the time of Satakarni, the third of the Satavahana kings, his name was called Satakarni Kula and the word Satakarni was also added at the end of the names of the later kings, and then that caste (lineage) was recognized as Satavahana Kula. Mirashi's opinion is still acceptable.
