The adoption of integrated nutrient management (INM) practices plays a pivotal role in enhancing the productivity and sustainability of agricultural systems. This study examines how different INM approaches affect hybrid maize's (Zea mays L.) growth, yield, and nutrient absorption. The combined impacts of organic and inorganic nutrient sources, such as chemical fertilizers, biofertilizers, and farmyard manure, on hybrid maize under various soil and climate conditions were assessed in a field experiment. A field experiment was conducted during Rabi season of 2022-23 on loamy sand of in the rural area of Kanpur district of Mandhana, located 10 km from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh in randomized block design with following treatment T1: Control (no fertilizer), T2: RDF 100%, T3: RDF 75% + vermicompost @ 5 t ha⁻¹,T4: RDF 100% + vermicompost @ 2.5 t ha⁻¹,T5: RDF 100% + vermicompost @ 5 t ,a⁻¹, T6: RDF 75% + poultry manure @ 5 t ha⁻¹, T7: RDF 100% + poultry manure@ 2.5 t ha⁻¹, T8: RDF 100% + poultry manure @ 5 t ha⁻¹, T9: T3 + vermiwash foliar spray @ 2% at 20 and 45 DAS, T10: T4 + vermiwash foliar spray @ 2% at 20 and 45 DAS, T11: T6 + vermiwash foliar spray @ 2% at 20 and 45 DAS, T12: T7+ vermiwash foliar spray @ 2% at 20 and 45 DAS, T13: T3 + polyfeed foliar spray @ 1% at 20 and 45 DAS, T14: T4 + polyfeed foliar spray @ 1% at 20 and 45 DAS, T15: T6 + polyfeed foliar spray @ 1% at 20 and 45 DAS and T16: T7 + polyfeed foliar spray @ 1% at 20 and 45 DAS. The results revealed that the integration of organic and inorganic nutrient sources significantly improved plant height, biomass production, and grain yield compared to sole reliance on chemical fertilizers or organic inputs. T16: RDF 100% + poultry manure@ 2.5 t ha⁻¹along with polyfeed foliar spray @ 1% at 20 and 45 DAS was found significant plant growth, yield while T12: RDF 100% + poultry manure@ 2.5 t ha⁻¹+ vermiwash foliar spray @ 2% at 20 and 45 DAS at par with this in all stages op plant growth as well yield.
