Pineapple, being a fresh fruit poses several challenges to the growers especially in marketing, and proper marketing determine income of the growers. Therefore, in the present study an attempt has been made to study problems encountered by grower in marketing their produce at farm gate level. The study is set in four (4) districts of Tripura, with 300 sample surveyed by multi stage sampling technique. The data thus obtained is analysed by Likert scale and rank method. The findings point that there are as many as twelve heads of problems, out which no nearby food processing unit is a major concern.
