Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the thematic and stylistic dimensions in the literary works of Aravind Adiga, a prominent contemporary Indian author renowned for his incisive exploration of societal complexities and human struggles. Focusing on the themes of social inequality and the human quest for agency within the intricate tapestry of Adiga's narratives, this research delves into the profound layers of meaning embedded in his thematic choices. Employing metaphors such as the 'rooster coop' and 'darkness,' Adiga crafts powerful commentaries on the entrapment of lower classes and the challenges faced by individuals striving for autonomy.
