Modi Government and Ease of Doing Business in India

Abstract

The Modi administration introduced creative strategies and projects aimed at boosting economic development. The Prime Minister has initiated various programs designed to simplify life for ordinary citizens, such as Make in India, Jan Dhan Yojna, Swachh Bharat Mission/Operation, Reforms in LPG subsidies, Digital India, Yoga initiatives, Mann Ki Baat, GST Bill, and more recently, actions against terrorism and black money in the economy, including the removal of five hundred and thousand rupee banknotes and a surgical strike against Pakistan. The research paper attempted to evaluate the novel strategies and projects launched by the Modi government since taking office and their impact on improving the ease of doing business in India.
