Abstract

Hence, the purpose of this paper is to critically discuss Cloud Computing Adoption in Indian Businesses: Impact on Operational Performance. Mainly based on secondary research data from 2015 to 2020, the research examines the level of adoption and its potential benefits and barriers in cloud computing. The rates of adoption of SGD also escalated, marked from 28·5% in 2015 to 68·9% in 2020 by using linear regression (R square 0·9964, p 0·00001). The growth identified in this aspect was confirmed to be statistically significant by using a paired t-test. Based on this study, perceived benefits were established to include reduced IT infrastructure costs by 85.6%, improved scalability by 82.3%, enhanced data accessibility by 79.8% all of which in enhanced operational efficiency.
