The world has gone through numerous phases of development in the fields of science and technology, commerce, and economics. Some theories of feminist empowerment were developed through the course of history. Women in Development (WID), strategy regards women as contributing members of society. It addresses not only the household concerns of women but also recognises and supports women in increasing their capacity for productivity.
