Abstract

Abstract: In India both socialist model and capitalist model market investment profit percolating to the poor people has not been practical achieved the goal of uplifting the poor people from the clutches of poverty. So, this paper tries to critically look at an alternative model which uses both Socialist and Capitalist model to address the problem of poverty. Central and State government invest money on social welfare programme like MGNAREGA, Annabhagya,etc. This money can be diverted into an empowerment programme. Each region has its special products in terms of crop, eatables, local products, cultural programmes, etc. So, using the money of social welfare programmes chain link can be created to connect above mentioned products to the local, national and international market.
