OPPORTUNITY AND CHALLENGES IN NATIONAL EDUCATION POLICY: A CRITICAL VIEW

Abstract

Introduction: National Education Policy 2020 is framed with a vision to indianize the education system as well as builds capacity of Indian education institutions to compete with the global institution. This policy tries empowers the students in two ways: a) by providing flexibility in course choice and also provides syllabus based on skill and employability. b) this policy tries to bridge the gap between industry and education. This paper tries to understand the core issues of National Education Policy 2020 and tries to understand the challenging issues needs to be addressed during the implementation. So that, it becomes more inclusive and equity based not only in letters but by spirit.
