ENHANCED ENGAGEMENT OF STUDENTS WITH INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING

Abstract

We need such learning system at all levels of education in India or across countries which will meet the needs of students, as per their interest, capabilities and as per their pace in each and every subject and in each stream. Such learning which is answer of above put questions is known as Individualized learning, also known as personalized learning. Individualized learning is an educational approach that fulfils the needs of students as per their choice of time, pace and interest. This individualized learning approach will keep in account the different backgrounds, strengths, and learning paces, and it aims to provide customized learning experiences that can help each student achieve their full potential at all levels. In this paper, we are going to discuss in detail, what is individualised learning, its key components and benefits for enhancing the engagement of students and challenges to implement it in real classrooms.
