REINFORCEMENT OF SOIL WITH GEOTEXTILES FOR I MPROVING FOOD NUTRITION

Abstract

Geotextile-reinforced soil walls resemble the standard sandbag walls used in a variety of construction projects. Due to the geotextile's greater strength and a straightforward mechanized construction procedure, geotextile-reinforced walls can be constructed to great heights. Construction work does not require the employment of highly skilled labor or sophisticated equipment. Construction can be finished in a fairly quick amount of time because many of the materials are prefabricated. This paper highlights the primary design elements that must be taken into account when geotextile is used to support soil barriers.
