Abstract

Empowerment of women is essentially the process of upliftment of economic, social and politicalstatus of women, the traditional under privileged ones in the society. It involves the building up of a societywherein in women can breathe without the fear of oppression, exploitation, apprehension, discrimination and thegeneral feeling of persecution which goes with being a woman in a traditionally male dominated structure. Thepresent paper deals with to analyze the socio-economic dimensions, political and educational dimensions of thewomen empowerment in national and world wide process.
