Abstract

In the nineteenth century, a wave of social enlightenment was created due to women's education in Maharashtra. A woman's attitude towards herself changed. Along with this, society's attitude towards women also changed. A woman gained self-confidence due to the opportunity of education. She became aware of herself and the happenings in the society. She started writing with the feeling that she should also write the life experiences shi has. He wrote in various genres like poetry, story, novel, biography, autobiography etc.
