Abstract

This paper examines the legal framework of the Right to Information (RTI) Act and its role in enhancing government accountability and transparency in Gujarat. By analyzing the legal provisions of RTI, the study explores the effectiveness of the law in ensuring government transparency, public participation, and accountability in public administration. The paper incorporates tabulated data to assess the impact of RTI requests on public service delivery, government responsiveness, and the reduction of corruption in the state.
