IDENTIFICATION OF ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIPS IN DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: A STUDY IN GUJARAT

Abstract

Domestic violence remains a serious issue in India, and Gujarat is no exception. This research focuses on identifying abusive relationships through empirical analysis, highlighting various factors such as psychological, emotional, physical, and financial abuse. Using data up to 2022, this study provides a comprehensive analysis of domestic violence cases, trends, and the effectiveness of various intervention mechanisms in Gujarat. The study also discusses the role of social, legal, and psychological tools in identifying and addressing domestic abuse. Based on the findings, recommendations for better intervention strategies and support systems are provided.
