To The study of socio-economic status of commercial flower grower and constraints in adoption of cultivation technology
Abstract
This study investigates the socio-economic status of commercial flower growers and the barriers they face in adopting modern cultivation technologies. Using a mixed-methods approach, including surveys and interviews, data was collected from flower growers across diverse regions. The analysis reveals significant correlations between socio-economic factors such as education level, access to finance, land ownership, and the adoption of advanced cultivation techniques. Key constraints identified include limited financial resources, lack of technical knowledge, inadequate infrastructure, and market uncertainties. Understanding these challenges is crucial for developing targeted interventions and policy recommendations to enhance technology adoption and improve the livelihoods of flower growers.
