Abstract

Abstract The study, conducted at AKS University instructional farm in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, examined 14 different mustard genotypes during the 2022 Rabi season revealing significant differences in all characters, indicating significant diversity. The phenotypic coefficients of variation (PCV) were higher than the genotypic coefficients of variation (GCV), with the maximum gcv and pcv observed for seed yield per plant. Heritability values ranged from 39.03 for harvest index to 98.31% for test weight, with maximum values found by test weight, plant height, seed yield per plant, days to maturity, biological yield per plant, days to 50% flowering, and number of siliqua per plant.
