Abstract

In this proposed model SIQRV, we will examine about the impact of vaccination and lockdown on COVID-19. In December 2019, novel Corona Virus disease was detected in Wuhan, China. Due to the outbreak scenario throughout the globe, On March 24, 2020, the government of India imposed a total lockdown on the nation and started the vaccination drive from 16 January 2021 to control the spread of COVID-19. We develop a five-dimensional mathematical model utilizing nonlinear ordinary differential equations to examine the effects of vaccination and lockdown on disease dynamics. This study shows that disease can be vanished only if total lockdown is implemented and everyone is completely vaccinated otherwise this disease will always be present in the system. However, we can keep this disease under control by contact tracing, quarantine measures, increasing rate of vaccination and implementing partial lockdown.
