ASSESS THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHILDREN AND CARE TAKERS REGARDING CHILD ABUSE BEFORE AND AFTER NURSE -LED INTERVENTIONS

Abstract

Parents' attitudes towards child abuse improved, and children and their carers gained more information as a result of the nurse-led intervention. We used a pre-experimental design to evaluate the level of knowledge and attitude towards child abuse among the children and carers who had been identified. The attitude of carers was changed to some extent as a result of the nurse-led intervention. At the 0.005 level of significance, the nurse-led intervention was successful in bringing about an attitude change. According to the study's results, this demographic desperately needs education and awareness campaigns on child abuse. The time has come to take preventative action and be vigilant against child abuse, particularly among the youngest members of society.
