Abstract

Mental imagery, also known as visualization or mental rehearsal, involves creating vivid mental representations of desired actions, situations, or outcomes. The use of mental imagery techniques has gained considerable attention in sports psychology as a tool to enhance performance by improving athletes' cognitive and psychological states.
