Growth, and yield response of Chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) to nutritional application of phosphorus and Zinc levels.
Abstract
In order to explore the possibility of enhancing growth and yield of Chickpea, therefore, a field experiment was conducted at the research farm, AKS University, sherganj satna during Rabi season 2019-20. In this experiment twelve treatment combinations including Four levels of Phosphorus (Po (0Kg P2O5/ha ), P1(40 Kg P2O5/ha), P2(60kg P2O5/ha) and P3(80kg P2O5/ha) and Zink(zn 0 kg zn/ha), Zn2(5Kg zn/ha) Zn3(10Kg zn/ha). were evaluated in factorial randomized block design in three replications. It was further evident that both the nutrition were Found to be effective in improving growth as well yield of Chickpea. However, maximums values of height of plant, number of branches per plant, number of root nodule per plant, number of pods per plant, grain yield as well as stover yield were recorded which were paramountly more when combine use of 80 kg P2O5/ha along with 10kg Zn/ha.
