THE IMPACT OF LEADERSHIP STYLES ON TEACHER MOTIVATION AND ORGANIZATIONAL CLIMATE IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

Abstract

This article explores the relationship between leadership styles of school principals and their impact on teacher motivation and organizational climate in educational institutions. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, three main objectives were established: to analyze the influence of leadership styles on teacher morale, to assess the connection between leadership practices and school effectiveness, and to evaluate the role of demographic factors in shaping leadership approaches. Findings indicate that transformational and participative leadership significantly enhance teacher satisfaction and engagement, while authoritarian styles detract from school climate. Recommendations include the adoption of professional development programs for principals and the importance of recognizing teacher demographics. This study highlights the critical need for effective leadership to foster a positive educational environment.
