A STUDY ON CHALLENGES OF INDIAN BANKING SECTOR AND IMPACT OF INNOVATION

Abstract

In todays’ era no one can deny the importance of the banking sector. The position Indian banking system has achieved has a long journey. In India, banking sector is considered as core of financial sector. Banks are provider of financial services to the customers. It has been observed that Indian banking sector has faced so many challenges and changes due to different reason whether it is nationalization or digitalization of banking services. This paper aims to understand the challenges of banking sector in India and impact of different innovation such as ATM, UPI, Net banking, etc in banking industry.
