Induced systemic defense response elicited by biofortified vermicompost in chickpea challenged with Rhizoctonia bataticola
Abstract
Chickpea (Cicer arietinum) is a widely cultivated and versatile fruit. Chickpea production faces various constraints, both biotic and abiotic stresses. Fusarium dry root rot, caused by the soilborne fungus Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ciceri, is a devastating disease that affects chickpea plants worldwide, causing significant economic losses in chickpea cultivation
